Salted Egg Yolk Prawns

You probably often found this dishes in a chinese or maybe peranakan restaurant. This dishes is easy as pie! you only need shrimps, approx 3 salted egg/ duck egg only use the yolk, butter, and voila it's ready to eat. You can either deep fried the prawns first with flour, it will taste even better, but this time I just fried the shrimps itself.

Custard Pudding

People in Japan call it "Purin" 
Be careful when you caramelized the sugar! too bad I accidentally added too much water to the caramel and it became too slushy :( Ingredients are, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla (best if you're using real ones), and water.





Creamy Angel Hair Pasta

This was my first time cook angel hair pasta, I personally don't really like this kind of pasta, and won't recommend this for a creamy type of dish, to me it just doesn't go well with cream, and I preferably use other kind of pasta, my favourites are Spirali, Rigatoni, Penne Rigate. Using only simple ingredients, pasta, milk, cheese, garlic, chili padi, sugar, pepper & salt to taste, and back bacon.

Oatmeal Cookies

Heyho guys!
I always love to cook ever since I was a kid, it runs in the family, I guess. It's a fun thing to do and definitely a way to release anger and stress. When I was in Junior High until college there's always one thing that I never got bored of do, cooking creamy pasta, it's simple, tasty, and most importantly it's always easy to cook pasta. Everyone's love it especially my sisters. But starting 2013 I tried to cook other dishes, I start with chinese/peranakan food. Why? my parents are both are not into western-ish dishes that's the biggest reason, I love it when people I love could enjoy my cooking. And the easiest way is to cook the food they are familiarize with, which is chinese food! I'm quite happy with my self because I cook alot in 2013 and they all (family) loves it. Besides cooking I also enjoyed photography, and that's the main reason why I finally made this blog, I also post my cooking on my instagram acc - fennysiawijaya .

At the end of 2013, it's the perfect time for me to bring myself to the next level which is baking. I always love seeing pretty stuffs and good looking sweets, but never bake anything before. Enough with the talking, so here it is my first baking experience I wanna share to you guys.










With only simple ingridients you could produce such a healthy, and tasty snacks. Its quite tiring yet fun proccess to do, I definitely would bake more in 2014!
